Squid Game

We all know Squid Game and the iconic doll's "Green Light, Red Light." Now imagine experiencing it for real! In my game, you can relive that thrilling challenge with your friends online multiplayer. None of you are the main character! everyone’s racing to cross the red line without getting caught moving. The doll sings, and you’re on a timer to finish before time runs out, but beware 😱if you’re caught moving after the singing stops, you’re DEAD! The rules are simple but tricky (watch out for sliding over 😉). Have you ever played it yourself? If not, now’s your chance! (Made with Unity)

The game is developed in Unity which is inspired by Netflix’s Squid Game and designed with an online multiplayer theme in mind. While there are some bugs, I plan to fix them in near future. 

The 3D player models are sourced from Sketchfab, with full credit to the talented designers, and the animations are from Mixamo. What makes it unique is that everyone is their own main character, yet no one is truly the main character, which adds to the excitement and unpredictability, making it the theme of this hackathon based on my interpretation!

For future development, I plan to add levels of difficulty and display a timer directly on the screen, display the names of online users joining the game, and possibly include an online chat box. I also plan to add new levels, such as a Glass Bridge for the next rounds, to create a more engaging experience. Additionally, I’d like to include an option for players to choose the role of the Doll, allowing them to shoot players caught moving, which would add an extra layer of fun.
